Joan Scott

Joan’s work is inspired by recollections of the local countryside and coast. She uses collage to create something new, and is trying to translate memories of past experiences into visual form. She lets the painting lead the way so its creation becomes a journey of discovery until the final image emerges.

Joan’s work is in private collections worldwide, she exhibits in DAW and has had work hung in selected exhibitions at:

·      Mall Galleries, London (Discerning Eye and Society of Women Artists)

·      RWA Open Exhibitons, Bristol

·      Southampton City Art Gallery

·      St Barbe, Lymington

·      Mottisfont Abbey, Romsey
