Mark Pender

“Mark has been painting and exhibiting for well over 30 years. His favourite medium is oils and although he paints a wide range of subjects, he specialises in (often quite large) works based on myths, legends, fairy tales and even biblical themes such as Noah’s Ark. His work often has a humorous side but equally, it can be quite dark. Sometimes both in one painting.

Based in Sherborne, he shares a studio with his wife Miranda.”
